Here are some photos from the six months I spent doing research at the National Museum of Ethnology (Minpaku) in Osaka, as the guest of Paul Kazuhisa Eguchi. Although I was there to finish writing up some research for him on ethnic symbiosis in Nigeria, and to research the attitudes of Japanese anthropologists towards history, I found time to work on other projects, to learn a lot about Japan, and to make several new friends.
